Taking a break
From all activities to relax
Improves the health of the body
When the body is
Deprived of rest
At a time it supposes to relax
The stress hormone is released
Into the blood stream
This causes an increase in blood pressure
Rest reduces stress
And lowers blood pressure
And also improves the cardiovascular health
Resting is a healing process
That helps the body
To get back its strength
Always get some rest
Whenever your body requires it
Don’t overwork to the detriment of your health
On the other hand, don’t chose to rest
When you suppose
To be actively involved
In a productive activity
A student who chooses to always sleep
During daylight hours
And watch films or movies at night
Even at a time school exams are around the corner
When he supposes to read/study
Has low moral integrity
Don’t idle away your time
When you suppose to find a tangible thing to do
To prevent you from struggling
At an old age
When you suppose to rest
Rest is sweet
Only after a fruitful labour
